LearningTimes.org.
This is the flagship community of the LearningTimes Network. It has many thousands of members, frequent live online events, lots of searchable recorded webcasts, and opportunities to try real-time and other interactive tools with like-minded colleagues. LEARN MORE

Certified Synchronous Training Professional (CSTP).
A well-respected, fast-paced, engaging online program that yields a professional certificate upon completion, the CSTP program is designed and led by the author of Learning in Real Time, and other leading e-learning leaders. VISIT

Training Live & Online.
Completely live online certificate programs on Second Life design, e-learning design, podcast production, project management, using Flash for e-Learning, training management among numerous other topic. Most workshops are six weeks in duration and feature one synchronous session per week. Brought to you by Training Magazine Events and LearningTimes. VISIT

ONLINE CONFERENCES

Illinois Online Conference (IOC).
An annual and highly-regarded three-day flurry of live presentations, online discussions and networking that connects education professionals from all sectors from all parts of the planet. Takes place in February each year and includes about one hundred presenters and hundreds of participants. VISIT

TCC Worldwide Online Conference.
The grandparent of all online conferences, the Teaching, Community and Connections (TCC) event has been bringing educators together online for twelve years. Takes place over three days each April and includes scores of presenters leading live online sessions. VISIT

ACRL Online Conferences.
The Association of College and Research Librarians is the American Library Association's largest division. They conduct regular live e-learning programs throughout the year as well as multi-day online conferences. VISIT

New Media Consortium (NMC) Online Conference Series.
Amazing two-day online events on specific new media topics, such as personal broadcasting and podcasting, visual literacy, and educational gaming. Anchored by four to six live online gatherings and panel sessions each day, this series models great live online interaction for professional development and networking. VISIT

Jossey-Bass Conference on Online Teaching and Learning.
Based on the popular series of Jossey-Bass guidebooks on online teaching and learning, the OTL Conference Online brings all of the books' authors (including Jonathan Finkelstein) — as well as a community of hundreds of professionals worldwide — right to your desktop for interactive online sessions, discussions, hands-on learning, strategy swapping, and networking. The LOLAs.
An annual award competition recognizing the best in synchronous design, program development and facilitation, the Live Online Awards (LOLAs) are a great resource to see a cross-section of achievement in the real-time realm. VISIT
